Documents required for Visa :

1. Original Valid passport with validity of 6 months from date of arrival in Spain + Old Passports if any.with at least two blank pages,should have been issued in the last ten (10) years. Photocopies of passport all pages.
2. Visa Application forms.
3. 2 photographs : 35 X 45 mm, white background matt finish, 80% face size.
4. Covering letter from the applicant, explaining in detail the purpose of the visit. All cover letters must include details of any other accompanying persons as well.
5. Hotel bookings for the entire duration of stay.
6. Air Tickets
7. Day to Day Itinerary
8. Travel Insurance.
9. Pan card copy.
10. Income tax returns or Form 16 for last 3 years. If IT returns have not been filed, submit a letter of explanation.
11. Original personal bank statements for last 1 year with bank seal & seal on each and every page if applying from Mumbai Consulate. If applying from Delhi than bank statements for last 3 months required.
12. Salary Slips for last 6 months – if employed
13. Original Leave Letter from Employer/School/College.
14. Retire proof /Pension order- if retired
15. Student id and bonafide letter – if student
16. Marriage Certificate if applying/travelling along with spouse. Original + Photocopy.
17. Birth Certificate – if child travelling along with parents or without parents. Original + Photocopy.

Note*
In case not able to present original documents, kindly submit the photocopy of the same legalized before a Notary public.
If the documents are in any regional language, they must be translated to English or Spanish by any language institute with official stamp and signature of the translation institute/agency.

Note*  Applicants need to go personally for submission with prior appointment if applying for first time to Schengen Country after 2nd November 2015.

5. Invitation letter from the Spanish company in Spanish language or both in English and Spanish.Letters issued only in English will not be accepted. This will be an obligatory requirement. (If asked embassy may say to submit Original Invitation letter also.)
6. Travel Insurance.
7. Hotel Voucher.
8. Return ticket.
9. Day to Day Itinerary.
10. Income tax returns/Form 16 for last 3 years.
11. Original saving Bank Statements last 6 months updated with healthy and sufficient balance and bank seal & sign on each and every page. Internet statement not allowed.
12. Salary Slips for last 3 months – if employed.
13. Company registration proof.
14. Pan Card.

For minor applicants:

1. In case the minor is travelling with either of the parents, affidavit from the other parent.
2. Photocopy of the passport to both the parents.
3. In case the minor is travelling with another person, affidavit from both the parents.

1. Invitation letter issued by “Policia Nacional de España”. (submit in original along with a photocopy )
2. Attested copy of the passport and the DNI or residence card of the person living in Spain.
