Yerevan 

Arrival at Yerevan’s Zvartnotz International Airport, where you are met by our stuff member with Best Tour sign. Transfer and check in to hotel. City tour in Yerevan. The sight-seeing includes also visit to Matenadaran, which is one the biggest depositories of ancient manuscripts in the world and has the biggest collection of the ancient Armenian texts. Dinner in Armenian Restaurant for additional fee. Here, you participate in traditional Armenian bread making. After dinner a walking tour in the center of night Yerevan. The tour includes visits to Cascade complex, which houses the Gafesjian’s contemporary art museum, Opera house complex, North avenue and Republic’s Square, where you can enjoy lightshow and singing fountains. If desired a visit to club can be arranged for evening entertainment. Night at Yerevan hotel.

Garni-Geghard-Sevan Tsagkhadzor 

Breakfast in the hotel. After breakfast you head to Garni complex, which includes the following buildings and values: Garni fortress (III-II cen. BC), pegan temple (dating 77 AD), royal baths and etc. From Garni we head to Monastry Complex of Geghard (IV cen. AD), a sight included in UNESCO’s would heritage listing. Further, trip to Sevan, where a dinner can be arranged as Lake Sevan is famous for its various and assorted fish. After sightseeing in Sevan you head to Tsagkhadzor, which is picteresque town on the slopes of Mount Teghenis. A ropeway connects the mountains to the valley, and is a unique experience. Return to Yerevan. Night at Yerevan hotel. Tsagkhadzor is also quite famous for its casinos and gambling. If desired an evening in casino with late return to Yerevan can be arranged.

Khor Virap-Areni 

Breakfast in the hotel. After breakfast you head to the beautifully situated Khor Virap monastery, which is an architectular masterpiece of the IV cen. AD. Khor Virap is situated on highlands, providing one of the best views to Ararat valley and Mount Ararat. After Khor Virap you head to Areni region. At cave Areni 1, aka “Birds Cave” is one of the earliest inhabitated sights in Armenia. Knives, metal tools and other items have been found in the cave dating back to 4200-3500 BC. A leather shoe more than 5500 years old was also found here, thus being the oldest leather shoe discovery in the world. Also the oldest winery in the world is situated there. After archeological sight-seeing you head to village Areni, which is world famous for its wines. At modern Areni winery you can have a unique experience of touring winery and tasting various wines. Also you will be offered dinner in Areni village. Return to Yerevan. Night at Yerevan hotel.

Yerevan 

Breakfast in the hotel. After breakfast a visit to Blue Mosque, one of the oldest Mosque’s in Armenia. Later visit to Ararat Cognac Factory, where a special guided tour is offered throughout the factory. The tour concludes with tasting of Armenian Cognac’s. Dinner in Restaurant for additional fee. After dinner you head to Vernissage, where national souvenirs’ can be purchased. Vernissage offers a large selection of hand crafted souvenirs, table linen, paintings, silver accessories, carpets and etc. After Vernissage a visit to a local “Bazar” or market, where edible Armenian souvenirs can be purchased, such as dried fruits, sweet treats, chocolate and etc. Excursion of Megerian Carpet, where you can see how famous Armenian carpets are made. Later in the evening shopping to Dalma mall or Yerevan mall. Night at Yerevan hotel. Instead of a shopping trip an outing to local music club, jazz club or a night club can be arranged.
